Prénom préféré du moment ? Des prénoms d’acteurs sans doute mais pas dans l’optique de les donner à des enfants.
Quelle voiture conduis-tu ? Titine
Quel trait de caractère n’aimes-tu pas ? chez qui ?
Habit préféré ? Tous mes machins Hooch et Bench.
Si tu pouvais partir n’importe où en avion où irais-tu ? J’ai des envies d’Irlande et d’Écosse en ce moment. Le Japon n’étant pas une envie vu qu’on y va là bientôt.
Où veux tu passer ta retraite ? C’est pas ce qui me travaille le plus je dois dire.
De quel anniversaire te souviens-tu ? aucun en particulier. C’est une date comme une autre. D’ailleurs je dois toujours recalculer mon age avant de répondre quand on me le demande.
Ta date d’anniversaire ? 28 décembre, ça je me souviens encore
Si tu étais une couleur ? Bordeaux comme le vin.
Chocolat ou vanille ? Par défaut, chocolat. Mais plutôt caramel ou thé vert.
Café ou Thé ? Café le matin, thé le reste du temps.
La dernière personne que tu as eue au téléphone ? Mon père pour discuter tempête.
Jour de la semaine préféré ? Le mardi parce que House et Medium, le jeudi parce que Lost, le vendredi parce que CSI, The Office, Burn Notice, le samedi parce que BSG et le lundi parce que Brothers and Sisters et bientôt le retour des Tudors.

what do you think about the TIME SWITCHING in LOST ?
I think it’s okay, as long as the writers continue to give us details relating to the HOW and WHY of the ISLAND (the plot line relating to Farraday’s mother, Charles Widmore + Desmond is helping to keep up my attention)
though I definitely understand why viewers not already emotionally drawn to the characters would be very frustrated
It was nice to see JIN again as well as an angry + beautiful SUN !!
plus, the producers gave a couple of weeks work to a band of French actors ^^
(on a technical side, I think the visual + sound effects for the TIME SWITCH are very good — and aesthetically parallel the smoky, eerie sounds of the MONSTER)
Well, I think it’s a very good move because they couldn’t continue with the centric episodes for long and hope to keep the audience captivated like in the very beginning. At one point, you have to give more to the viewers and FINALLY we’re starting to get answers !!
Since Desmond « flashes before your eyes » (3×08), I’ve always had this theory that every flashback we’ve seen so far was not only meant for us to understand everybody’s background but was really happening to the characters minds. Their minds were litteraly time switching and now their bodies are following because something is wrong on the island and that’s why we don’t get flashbacks and/or flashforwards anymore. We just have what seems to be 2 stories set at different times: one on the island, one outside. Once the Oceanic 6 are back on the Island, time will resume its course like before.

Like you I decided a couple of years ago that understanding Desmond would be a key to understanding the « alternate realities » that drive the plot
I wish I could remember better some of the details relating to Desmond
(the stuff with Charlie, his « time switches » in Australia, the hatch, etc.)
It really takes a high IQ and a lot of intellectual discipline to follow some of these TV series !!
… as I’ve said before, the bottom line for me about LOST is that it is a great family show. There’s something for everybody !

the phrasing « centric episodes » is new to me, but it sounds like it could be contemporary USA tv lingo that I hadn’t heard before … it has a very post-modern social theory edge to it
